A Living Heritage Estate Built in the 1920's by tin mining entrepreneur James Malcolm Newman, Banyak Suka Homestead has welcomed remarkable chapters of Australian history.

In 1958, British Prime Minister Harold Macmillan and Lady Dorothy Macmillan stayed at the homestead — a prestigious moment in the estate’s story.

Decades later, the property entered a creative era under the ownership of Mark McEntee of the Divinyls, with songwriting inspired by the solitude and character of this unique place.

Today, Banyak Suka continues as a private estate for meaningful gatherings — and new stories.
